Don’t change often
I don’t want to suggest that you change things frequently. Even Google takes time to log your updates. However, if your content is a little stale and you’re losing out to your competitors, it’s time to check if everything you thought you had is real. It’s in its place.
View your page like a robot
I like to think of it as a “bot’s perspective”, when a little robot comes along and it doesn’t say, “Oh, that cute header image! Oh, I love that font, the phone number list white space really suits me! Oh, the internet has changed a lot since I was a junior robot browsing dancing baby gifs!” It reads the code and keeps going. We can do this too, with a little trick.
